Blu-ray Sales: January 2-9: Love and Monsters Has the Heart to Top the Charts

For the week that ended on January 9th, Paramount Home Media Distribution's Love and Monsters topped both the Blu-ray-only and overall packaged media charts. The post-apocalyptic adventure about one man's quest to reunite with his girlfriend was originally meant to have a wide theatrical release in February 2021, but like so many movies in recent months, those plans were changed by the coronavirus pandemic, and Paramount ended up giving the film a limited theatrical release in October 2020 instead, where it managed to bring in over $1 million at the box office and received positive reviews. Love and Monsters also has the distinction of knocking Christopher Nolan's Tenet off of the top spot on both charts, where it had sat for the previous three weeks....
